I was inspired to draw this piece after stumbling upon some heartwrenching stories about wandering seal pups found in different locations across the globe. Each individual was found 4-20 miles away from water, most seemed to have followed waterways into woods, meadows or ditches. Accumulation of reports of these unusual occurrences of grey, harbor, and sea lions were from US, Sweden, Canada, and England.
