Ondine the Undine, 2022

Polymer clay, cotton and poly fibers, upcycled pleather, airbrush, acrylics, varnish. Aluminum poseable armature in tail, part of arms, and neck.

Undine are water fae and this water fae is a distant relative to some blow fish and pufferfish species. This species of Undine can mimic human voices and understand and mimic a variety of flora and fauna languages.

Head and hands are all polymer of this art doll, not a child’s toy. Ondine has aluminum wire armature that makes her poseable and strong enough to sit upright, seen in photos posing without a doll stand. This is a hand sewn and hand painted and sculpted piece.
